French Brazilian born in Casablanca, Morocco, Xavier moved to Brazil, when he was 2 years old. He has lived in São Paulo, Piracicaba, Goiânia and Rio de Janeiro. Then life took him abroad again and he lived in the UK, The Netherlands and Venezuela.
Back to São Paulo in 2016, Xavier brought in his luggage, heart and soul filled with impressions from many different people, cultures, beliefs and realities he met along those years of work and travelling all over the world, reaffirming a simple conclusion: every human being is in the same search of love, justice and happiness.
In 2020, 60 years old and with time to invest in a personal project, Xavier recorded Presence to provide its compositions a better chance to get known and give his share of positive actions to the society.
In 2021, the partnership with Instituto Bacarelli was formed and this site was created in order to promote the Presence Project and donations to the Institute, which anyone can easily do by listening, buying, recording songs or making a direct donation.
Xavier’s biggest dream is to see one of his songs performed in the voice of a world famous singer to reach thousands of people and lots of funds to the main purpose of this project: the musical education of less fortunate children in Brasil. Spread the word!
“Music can change the world and I hope my songs will make people’s lives better.”
